CATHEDRAL CITY Authorities on Wednesday released the name of the woman killed when her car collided head-on with a delivery truck on Vista Chino on Tuesday. Audrey Anderson, 50, of Cathedral City died after losing control of the Jaguar she was driving and crossed into the westbound lane, according to police. The Riverside County Sheriffs Department reported Wednesday that Anderson had been driving erratically at a high rate of speed before colliding with a UPS truck. The driver of the truck was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. A coroner's spokesman said the autopsy on Anderson was complete but it would be four to six weeks before tests conclude whether she was intoxicated when
the accident occurred.
