Patricia Ellis Wilkie, age 64 of Hendersonville, passed away to her Heavenly Home with her husband by her side on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1953 in Henderson County; a daughter of the late Bud and Tony Ellis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Wilkie.
A lifelong resident of Henderson County; Patricia was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, Mamaw and sister; she loved her family so much, especially her grandbabies. She also loved growing Dahlias and enjoying Yonholme.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clarence Douglas Wilkie; two sons, Michael Wilkie and Clarence Wilkie and his wife, Tammy; one daughter, Malisa Smith and her husband, Ricky; four grandchildren, Mikyla, Sydney, Riley and Rory Wilkie; and by two sisters, Cathy Ellis and Alesia Strickland and her husband, Tony.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Matthew Morgan and Reverend Jonathan Rackley. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
