Esperanza Rente, 90, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Waterview Care Center in Cedar Grove, NJ. She was born in Havana, Cuba. Visitation will be at the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 on Tuesday, March 10th from 5-9pm. Kindly be at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 11th by 9:30 am for a short service prior to the Mass at 10:30 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark. The burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, 168 N. Sussex St., Dover, NJ 07801. Esperanza is survived by her loving husband Mario Luis Rente of 70 years and devoted children, Luis Rente and his wife, Barbara, Beatriz Sampedro and her husband, Antonio; George Rente and his wife, Diane, Joseph Rente and his wife, Laura and Mario Rente Jr. and his wife, Kim; 12 cherished grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Gerardo Perez and 2 siblings. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 23 Vreeland Road, Suite 105, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
