Funeral services for Mr. Roy Williams, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 2 PM at the graveside in the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1780 Gumlog Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Jerry Walden will deliver the eulogy.

On August 7, 1932, in Bartow, Jefferson County, Georgia, Roy Williams was born as the son of Evelyn Jackson Williams and Walter Williams, Sr. He passed away on April 20, 2020.

His life laid a path for him in sawmill labor. He was united in holy matrimony to Juanita Smith Williams.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Williams, Jr.; four brothers, Calvin, Walter, Clinton and Ollie Williams; and by one sister, Gloria Dean Williams of Bartow.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Juanita Williams of Wrightsville; three daughters, Annie C. Davis, Emily (Lorenzo) Josey both of Wrightsville, and Kathy (Eric) Davis of Lithia Springs; five sons, Isaac (Latha) Williams of Wrightsville, Willie (Delois) Williams, Robert (Pamela) Williams both of Dublin, Jerry Williams of Louisville, and Ted Williams of Wadley; one sister-in-law, Mildred Webb of Bartow; eighteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; and (with special thanks to) the loving and supportive staff of Heritage Inn of Sandersville.
