Frances Virginia Armstrong Bermel, born July 13, 1930, was welcomed into heaven on April 22, 2020 by her husband, Roy Louis Bermel, parents, Charles Edward Armstrong, Jr. and Olive Virginia Green Armstrong, two brothers, Charles Edward Armstrong III and James Oliver Armstrong, sisters-in-law Dorothy Clark Armstrong and Edith Summa Armstrong, in-laws Ernest Edward and Ella Erck Bermel, great-niece Lauren, and great-nephew Bryan.
She is survived by her son, E. L. Bermel (A.) and his children. Also surviving Frances is her daughter, Catherine and her children. In addition, Fran was blessed to have 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by one brother D. Armstrong, sisters-in law V. Armstrong and Ruth (Harry), as well as two nephews, numerous nieces, and multiple other relatives and friends who love her very much.
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, no services will be held at this time. There will be a celebration of Frances’ life to be scheduled at a time when it is safe to do so.
