Mr. William "Pop" Butler, 85, of 317 Newnan St., died Thursday after a brief illness.
Mr. Butler was a native of Maxville, Fla and retired as a driver with the Greyhound Bus Lines after 26 years service. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Adrian Bunny and Kay Roberts; nieces: Peggy Newton, Clara Maxwell and Violet Reeves; and nephew, Arthur Brandies.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday in the Chapel of George H. Hewell & Son Southside Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd. S., with Rev. Ronnie McKenne officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Macon Newton, Henry Maxwell, Donald Ballentine, Harold C. McClarrie, Jr, Richard McClarrie and Mark Harrod.
