Adolph Krumm, age 70, of Maple Plain was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Aug. 19, 1936 to Joseph and Margaret (Hulm) Krumm in Hague, N.D.
Adolph served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1957, at which time he entered the Navy Reserves.
Adolph and Marian were united in marriage Nov. 26, 1960 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Ipswich, S.D. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage.
Adolph worked as a welder, being employed at the Stanley Iron Works in Bloomington for 30 years.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, and the Knights of Columbus.
His favorite thing to do, was to spend time with his family. Bowling was a hobby, prior to his health decline.
Adolph is survived by his wife, Marian; son and daughter Robert and Sharon; special daughter Sarah; eight grandchildren: David, Katie, John, Jessica, Ryan, Emily, Evan, Ellen; and his sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Clarence Otterstetter.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with the Rev. Frank Wampach officiating.
Further services will be Saturday, March 3 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Ipswich, SD. The Rev. Chester Murtha will officiate at the Holy Cross funeral Mass. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Iten's Watertown Funeral Home and the Gramm-Hein Funeral Home of Ipswich, S.D.
