Simpson Bush was executed at Stanton for slaying his wife; William Puckett at West Irvine, for killing William Hall and Robert Charlton, colored, for the murder of his mistress. Not a bad days work.

* Simpson Bush's mother was Sarah (Puckett) Bush/Mrs. Wm. Lemon Bush See FAG # 18321067, buried in Townsend Cemetery, Zachariah, Wolfe County, Kentucky. She was born 27 Jan 1849 and died 27 Jan 1899 (50 yrs.)
