Bernard Simon, 66, formerly of the St. Kilian area, died Monday, Oct. 2, 1978, at Grancare Nursing Center, Fond du Lac, where he resided since July of 1976.
He was born March 1, 1912, in the Town of Ashford, a son of the late Frank and Margaret Schrauth Simon. He never married.
Surviving are two brothers, Conrad of Wauwatosa and Rev. Ambrose OFM, Cap., of Nicaragua; and four sisters, Miss Odelia Simon and Sister Angelica CSA both of Fond du Lac, Sister Tecla CSA of Yonkers, N.Y., and Sister Ambrose CSA of Ellis, Kan. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miller's Funeral Home, Kewaskum, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, St. Kilian. The Rev. Arthur Kalinski will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Simon will be after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
