Andrew Bridge Was a Man Remarkably Well Preserved for His Age.
Yorkville. Feb. 8. — The death of Andrew Bridge occurred at his home on Campbell avenue at 5:30 o'clock last evening after a two weeks illness. Mr. Bridge was born in Wittersham, England. November 18, 1829. He came from Kingston, Canada and located in this place in 1908 and had since lived here. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Amos M., Westbrook, Canada; Oliver C., Moose Jaw, Sach.; Sarah Bridge, Toronto, Canada; Mrs. Andrew Howie, Glen Vale, Canada; Dr. D. Bridge, Albert City. IA.; Fergus R. and Edna Bridge of Utica and Harold Bridge of Westbrook. Canada.
The deceased had for many years been successfully engaged In bee-keeping. He was a man wonderfully preserved for his age and when 86 years old painted his house, a two story structure, handling the ladders himself and successfully engaging in the rather dangerous work upon them. He was a man who always enjoyed the esteem of the community.
