Esther Leona Risser (daughter of Adin and Ida Risser) died after an illness of three weeks of rheumatic fever. “We deeply mourn for one whom we so much loved, but not as one for whom we would have no hope. She will long be remembered by those of her family for her smile and the songs which she so much sang. One of her favorite songs was “Lord, keep me shining for Thee, until I behold Thy face.”
Dearest Esther, thou hast left us,

But ‘tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
