Walter was born in Indian Head, Maryland on November 25, 1937 to Olla and Halley Wright. He was the 5th of 6 brothers. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, who started Wrights Towing after his retirement. Walter was the type of person you could call no matter the time and he would be there.
He is preceded in death by his parents Olla and Halley Wright, 4 of his brothers, LeAnder (Red), Lindsey, Grover, and Curtis Wright.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Peggy) Wright, with whom he shared 59 years. His children Freddie (Carol) Crouse and Lucy (Bobby) Weber. His brother Calvin (Linda) Wright. He leaves behind 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, with one more on the way.
