A native of Wilcox County, she was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Having touched the lives of all she came in contact with, she has gone to claim her reward. PUBLIC VISITATION WILL BE FROM 12 NOON UNTIL 9:00 P.M. AT THE FUNERAL HOME. THE BODY WILL LIE IN REPOSE, AT THE CHURCH, ONE HOUR PRIOR TO FUNERAL TIME. FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE SATURDAY, MAY 7, 1994, 1:00 P.M., NEW BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH. REVEREND JOHNNY SHIELDS, OFFICIATING. BURIAL IS IN GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER MEMORIAL GARDENS, DOCENA. PERRY & SON FUNERAL HOME IS DIRECTING. Survivors: son, Lester F. Washington of Birmingham; brothers, Jesse (Mable) Washington and Frank (Mary) Washington both of Birmingham; brother-in-law, Leonard Lane of Birmingham; sisters-in-law, Cleola Lee and Rosie Lee both of Birmingham; granddaughter, Raven of Birmingham; 13 nieces and nephews; 34 great nieces and nephews.
