Lena S. Christ, age 77, of 503 Clark Lane, Arcadia, died at the DeSoto Memorial Hospital, Monday morning, December 2,1968 after a prolonged illness.
She was born in Mascoutah, Illinois and was married to John A. Christ on October 26, 1909 in Granite City, Illinois.
She came to Arcadia in 1912. She was a member of the Arcadia First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, John A. Christ, Arcadia. Four sons – Edgar Christ, Walter Christ, Virgil Christ and Homer Christ all of Arcadia. Two daughters – Mrs. Florence C. Heis, Narberth, Penna., and Mrs. Martha C. Dolan, Big Lake, Texas. Three sisters – Mrs. Mary Dickhaut, Arcadia, Mrs. Emelia Graul, Macoutah, Illinois and Mrs. Ann Oldendorf, Ocelo, Arkansas. 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
