He leaves four sons, John Trautner of Tampa, FL; James, Joseph & Russell Trautner of Clinton. Two sisters, Claire Chapdelaine of Northboro and Margaret Schafer of Fairles Hills, PA. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Trautner and three sisters, Dorothy Hamilton, Betty Reith and Ann Trautner .
He was born in Clinton, son of the late Herbert J. Trautner and Margaret A. (Hahn) Trautner . He owned and operated his own roofing business for many years and was prior owner of the Falcon Club restaurant in Clinton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and home cooking.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 3:00 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, MA. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
