THOMAS HURTT, 64, OF LEHIGH DIES IN HOSPITAL HERE
Thomas Hurtt, 64, of Lehigh, died at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Mercy hospital where he was brought for medical treatment Friday.
Hurtt is survived by his widow and several children. The body is at the Young funeral home. Arrangement for the services will be announced later.

RITES THURSDAY FOR T.J. HURTT, LEHIGH RESIDENT

LEHIGH, June 3 - Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Hurtt, 64-year-old coal miner who died Monday afternoon at Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge after and illness of two weeks, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the G. Mrshall Young funeral home in Fort Dodge. The Rev. C.F. Bohn, paster of the Church of God at Fort Dodge, will conduct the services and the body will be brought to Lehigh for burial.
Mr. Hurtt was born in Lehigh on August 31, 1876, and lived here all of his life. He was married Aug. 20, 1918 to Martha Erickson in Fort Dodge.
Besides his wife, Mr. Hurtt, is survied by four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Ferry of Lehigh, Mrs. Donald Klinger of Callender, and the misses Erma Irene Hurtt and Janice Charlene Hurtt at home; five sons, Thomas Hurtt now at Camp Claiborne, La., Clarence Hurtt of Poplar, Mont., and James Elton, George Daniel and Leonard Bruce Hurtt, all living at home, as well as four grandchildren. Mr. Hurtt was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
