Elaine Favier Alley, a homemaker who lived in Washougal for the past year, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. She was 81.

Her husband of 60 years, Eugene W., died in 2003.

Mrs. Alley was born March 25, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo. She lived in Vancouver before moving to Washougal.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly J. Andersen of Rapid City, S.D., and Pamela E. Beekman of Fairview, Ore.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Alley enjoyed playing bridge and taking care of her home.

A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
