Ada Jackson, 91, died at home Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007. She was born May 19, 1916 in Watonga, Okla. to the late Rev. Charlie Parks, Sr. and Missouri Hilliard-Parks.
She was married to Alfred Jackson on August 4, 1939, in Gould, AR. They retired to Pine Bluff in 1977.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 5th and Gross Streets Pine Bluff with the Rev. Anthony Craig officiating. Burial will be at Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Department of the Blind or the Hospice Angels.
