Myrtle was born in Belvidere the daughter of Charles Franklin and Mary Brown McCumber.
She was the 2nd wife of Meeker Oliver Bradley Hale

MRS. MEEKER HALE PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT AT 9 O'CLOCK
Mrs. Meeker Hale died last night at nine o'clock at the family home, 514 Church street. The funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at one'oclock ath the house and one thirty at the Congregational church.
The deceased was taken sick January first last and the disease, consumption, proressed steadily to the end. Besides the husband, one daughter, Mary, ten months of age, survives, and by former unions there remain the sons William and John. Her home was in Caledonia until coming to Belvidere a few years ago.
Much sympathy will be entertained for those bereaved, in the loss of one who had numerous friends an who was held in affectinate regard for her many excellencies of character.
