This is also the same location (13 22) as John Collins (the school teacher) married to Catherine Hartnett is also recorded as a tenant living with his family in a later 1891 Canada Census. Possibly John Collins was renting this home from his cousin Thomas Collins.

1881 and 1891 It is noted Canadian Census for Emily Township, Ontario that he is a Peter Robinson Settler or descendant. In the 1881 it states he was a tenant at location 7 (?) lot/concession and in the 1891 it said he was a tenant of 13 (?) Con/Lot.

1894, February 20 died at age 56 years. According to the family story, John Collins Sr. was sick on the train while returning home from Nebraska, got off the train in Chicago and died there. John Collins taught school in Nebraska U.S.A. on an Indian Reservation as well as in EmilyTownship at Downyville and Frank Hill.
