She was married to Paul Brasington on April 9, 1944. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents George and Grace Brooks, two sisters LaDeanne and Pauline, son-in-law Paul Wickersham. She is survived by two sisters Dorine and Arrietta, and brother Eddie. Children Paula Wickersham, Michael Dwayne Brasington and wife Barbara, Sheresa Brooks and Michael Paul Brasington. Grandchildren the Wickershams: Randy and Lori, Rick and Liz, Rod and Melissa, Ryan and Shannon; Shylene Carter, Krista Brooks, Amber and Chris Dacus, and several great grandchildren.
