Elizabeth M. Lines was born in Columbus, Wis., May 25, 1859, and died in Kalamazoo last Friday. December 2, 1897, she was married to John E. Macy of Chicago where the greater part of her married life was spent. She had been in declining health for a number of years. Besides her husband she leaves a step-son, Alfred Macy, of Chicago, a grandson, Earl Macy whom she cared for from infancy; one sister, Mrs. Edith McKee, and a number of nieces and nephews. She proved a faithful wife and a devoted mother and was never so happy as when doing for others. Mrs. Macy was a member of a Chicago Methodist church and while health permitted was active in church work. The funeral was held from the home of her niece, Mrs. Roy Hofacker, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. E. Pollock. Interment in Mountain Home cemetery.
