Pearl, 88, passed away on May 23, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born August 2, 1931 to Sylvan Aucoin of Palmetta, LA and Edna Comeaux of Morgan City, LA.

She retired from the Columbian Chemicals Carbon Black Plant in Franklin, LA after 18 1/2 years.

Pearl is survived by 3 sons, Mickey "Bo" Landerman, Jerry (Barbara) Landerman, Anthony (Gina) Landerman; 1 daughter, Lenora Landerman; Special niece, Pamela (Charles(Buster) Johnson; 8 Grandchildren, Shane (Brandi) Landerman, Michael (Cayla) Landerman, Mickey Landerman Jr, Kristopher (Katie) Landerman, Fred (Jean)Esta, Samuel (Cathy) Esta, Sabrina (Anthony) Boyd, John Esta.
13 great-grandchildren, Sean Landerman, Kylie Landerman, Kainen Landerman, Caison Landerman, Shyann Landerman, Selena Landerman, Anthony Bryd Jr, Gage Esta, Briana Esta, Raven Esta, Brett Esta, Sam Esta Jr & Bryce Esta.
Sister, Leva McNabb and son-in-law, Albert McLeod; and numerous neices and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 28 years, Fred Landerman, her parents, daughter Barbara MCLeod, and previous son-in-law, Dennis Esta; 3 sisters, Norris McCloy, Nora Lee Badon and Mary Hanks; 2 brothers, Dyrus Aucoin (died as an infant) and Randolph Aucoin.

Gathering of friends & family is Tuesday, May 26 from 10:am to 12 p.m., with a Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Paster Larry Reeves of Beauregard Worship Center, Officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, LA. The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses from Heart of Hospice.
