He died in 17 Aug 1918 at 22 Belmont Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, and left his estate to his widow, Louisa Mary EVANS.
The 1918 Electoral Roll for that address says he was Alfred Edward EVANS, and there was a Harold EVANS at the same address.
The Daily Herald 24 August 1918, page 8, says he was buried at Strawberry Hill (Twickenham Cemetery), Section B, Grave 249 second row, with Louisa Maud EVANS, aged 85, who died on 5 Apr 1946 and was buried on 11 Apr 1946.
