Elnora L. Conley, 93, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was born on April 20, 1926 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, Seminole County to Johnnie and Clara Louie, the sixth of seven children. Both parents preceded her in death at the very early age of three. She and her six siblings were taken in and raised by her mother’s sister, Aunt Loretta and Uncle Henry Carter, who already had 10 children of their own. She often spoke about the fun she had during her childhood days with her large and loving family. She had many fun memories. As Aunt Lore would have it, she professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She attended and graduated from Boley high school. Elnora met and married the love of her life, Robert E. Conley 'Bobby.' To this union one child, Patsy, was born. Their marriage ended in divorce, therefore, her daughter, Patsy, was placed in the home of Robert’s parents who raised her. Elnora worked in various places in the Oklahoma City area: dental office, Black Hotel, and was a caregiver at Golden Rule Home. Afterwards, she headed West to Los Angeles, California. While in California, Elnora worked for the prominent Allred Family. In later years, Elnora rededicated her life to God, and joined the Church of God Congregation in California, and reunited the Church of God upon her return back to Oklahoma City. Elnora worshiped there, at the Church of God, up until she started to detect her health beginning to fail. Elnora truly led by example. She prayed and humbled herself before God. She was a great person, who added so much to every life she touched. She was survived by her daughter, Patsy L. Wilson and husband Dewey of Oklahoma City; grandson, Patrick D. Wilson, Sr. also of Oklahoma City, OK; three great-grandsons, Patrick D. Wilson, Jr, Derek D. Wilson, and Josiah D. Wilson; a brother, Johnnie Louie of Los Angeles, California; nieces, nephews, church family, and friends. Grave side services were held at 1:00 p.m. on 8 April, at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
