4012 Private A Seaton, 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons. He deployed with his Regiment to South Africa for the Second Anglo Boer War, deploying on arrival to the Colesberg district under General French. They rejoined the main Army at Bloemfontein in April 1900. In the northern and eastern advances the 6th Dragoons were in the 1st Cavalry Brigade. Pte Seaton died of disease at No 12 General Hospital, Springfontein, Orange Free State. He is also commemorated (as Pte Seton) on the Enniskillen Boer War memorial in Wellington Road, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
