She and her twin sister, Darlene, were born in Parma, Missouri on February 13th, 1935. She and Darlene were inseperable, loved wearing matching outfits, and the two shared a fierce love and connection that reached from Tennessee to Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Mallory; her mother, Frances Mallory; her twin sister, Darlene Pugh; her first husband and father of her children, Bill Hinton; and her son, Billy Hinton.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Johnnie Wright; her daughters Susie Van Valkenburgh and Jill Morgan; her step-children Mark Wright, Carol Burger, Cheri Dood; and her grandchildren Cody Van Valkenburgh, Taylor Brown, Seth Morgan, Crystal Burger-Wease,Michelle Bell, Ethan Wright, Eliott Wright, and Gabriel Wright.
In her life, she loved to make oatmeal cookies with her grandchildren, vacation anywhere with her family, grow in faith with her Sunday school class, and volunteer with her church.
She inspired and cultivated her family's love for music by teaching piano songs, listening to country music, and singing hymns.
This selfless, loving woman lived to spend time with her tight-knit family and spoil her grandchildren any chance she got. She loved spreading great joy and love to them through hugs and kisses, delicious food, and haircuts. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone.
