Anna Foster, dau. of Lieut. James Foster and Anna Lane, b. Jan. 27, 1684/5 at Dorchester, Mass. She d. Nov. 13, 1728 of record at Dorchester, Mass., Æ 44, but is interred at adjoining Milton, Mass.

On June 1, 1710 at Dorchester, Anna m. as his 1st wife, Robert Field, 3rd, s. of Robert Field, Jr. and Mary Chenery (q.v. Chinery), b. circa 1685. He d. June 22, 1759 at Milton, Mass., Æ 74. They had eight recorded children: Mary (Field) Vose, Anna (Field) Atherton, Joseph, Ebenezer, Mehitable (d.y.), followed by sons Robert, James, and Hopestill.

Here lyes buried Mrs. Anna Field wife of Mr Robert Field she departed this Life ye 13th of Nouember 1728 in ye 44 year of her age.
