Vera Montez Johnson, 77, 7524 E. Jackson St., died Wednesday in Delaware County Health Center after a long illness. She was born in Crawfordsville and had resided in Muncie since 1983.
Survivors include a brother, Jack Ellis (wife: Dorothy), Muncie; a grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Si Johnson; and a daughter, Nancy Rich.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Everett Davenport officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Calling will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
