Graveside services for Lila Jean Pearson, 70, Williamstown, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Underwood Cemetery in Williamstown.

Mrs. Pearson died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1934, in Perry, the daughter of Clarence B. "Pug" and Lois Abel Hunter. She graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1952.

Mrs. Pearson worked as a scale operator for Hamm's North Lawrence Quarry for 29 years and retired in 1998. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church and a former Sunday school teacher.

She married Warren D. "Buddy" Pearson on Jan. 19, 1953, in Perry. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sheryl Pearson, Lecompton; a son, Brian Pearson, Topeka; and three grandchildren.
