Socorro Alvarez was born San Luis Potosi to Juan and Carmen Lara on January 24th, 1921. She went to school at San Luis Potosi. She married Domingo Alvarez. She worked as a tailor for Neiman Marcus for over 20 years.
Socorros is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Carmen Lara, Robert Alvarez (oldest son) and 4 brothers and sisters.
Socorros is survived by Hector (son) and Frances Alvarez (DIL), Maria (daughter) and Brian Cappleman (SIL), and Ola Alvarez (DIL) Grandchildren- Dena Alexander, Jennie Alvarez, Tony Alvarez, Robert Alvarez II., Beverleigh Botta and Austin Cappleman. Great Grandchildren- Nicolas Alvarez, Alex Alexander, Jacob Alvarez, Isaiah Narvaez, Dominic Alvarez, Summer Alvarez, Autumn Alvarez, Luke Alvarez and Ezekiel Alvarez.
