She married Solomon Middaugh in Sussex County around 1788. Catherine and Solomon had seven children, but the first three died in infancy. They belonged to the Clove Dutch Reformed Church in Wantage.
In 1806, the Middaughs moved to Cayuga County, New York. By 1820, the farm was part of the newly formed Tompkins County. Catherine died in Tompkins County on November 8, 1840, and is buried in the South Hill Cemetery.
