The family joined a circus touring Europe and called themselves the De Barcsy Troup. Nicu was billed as the "Smallest Perfect Man on Earth" and often performed in the palm of his father's outstetched hand. Some of the circuses that the family performed in were the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus and Bill Campbell Circus.
