Roy had been despondent over a prolonged heart condition he hung himself in his parents home on 301 North Second Street, Columbia.

Services for Roy Robert Clark, of Columbia, who committed suicide Thursday evening will be held at the home, 301 North Second Street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Horace N. Olewiler will officiate and burial will be in Laurel Hill cemetery.
