Lola was born on October 9, 1911, in Lynn County, to William Burton and Susan Belle Nunley Edwards. She married Joe Walter Boles on December 11, 1936, in Clovis, New Mexico. They lived in Lubbock for many years before moving to Taos, N. M., and then to Denver, Colo.
Lola Boles was survived by her husband, Joe Boles, of the home; a daughter, Virginia McDermott and husband, Bill (Memorial #72874807); two granddaughters, Tracy and Mitzi Howell(Find A Grave Memorial #75173184); and brothers: Carlice, Boswell, and Wilson; and sisters, Irma Danklefs and Velma Godwin. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eunice Lewis, and two little brothers, Arby and Dwight Edwards.
Her nephews were the casket bearers. She was buried at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas (Cooper).
