Death Announcement
Word announces the death of Mrs. M. M. Diehl, which occurred at her home in Leavittsburg, Thursday night at 12 o'clock. Mrs. Diehl was stricken with paralysis on Tuesday night, and never regained consciousness. She was a sister of Mrs. George W. Strock of Niles, Mrs. Windsor Calhoun and Mrs. Wilson of Canfield, Mrs. Pennell of Austintown, Perry Maurer of Rush Run and Alex Maurer of N. Jackson. Her son, Perry Diehl is a well known engineer on the Erie railroad. The funeral will be held Sunday.

The funeral of Mrs. Marita Mower Diehl took place at the Disciple church Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. Ross. Mrs. Diehl was married in 1845, and her husband died in 1854, leaving her with four little children, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral. Mrs. Diehl was stricken with paralysis and died in two days. She was a woman well known and highly respected in the community.
