Bobby Dangar, age 86, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Arbor Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Gerral Richards, Rev. Joey Watson and Rev. Jason Owen officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sosebee Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, July 17th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Bobby was a member of Arbor Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn R. Dangar and brother, Oscar Dangar, Jr. Bobby is survived by his children, Sherry Kennedy (Bo), Rhonda Harbour (Frank) and April Phillips (Wayne); sister, Hazel Owen; three grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Due to COVID-19 the use of facial coverings is recommended, no food is permitted and limited seating is available at the funeral home and church due to social distancing requirements.
