SCOTT. — On June 10, 1929, at Perth Hospital, Abraham, the dearly beloved father of Sarah (Mrs. H. Evans), William, Hannah (Mrs. T. Ashmore), Cecelia (Mrs. W. Merritt), George, Bertha (Mrs. J. McLean) and Evelyn (Mrs. J. Anderson); aged 76 years.

OBITUARY LATE MR.- A. SCOTT. The funeral of the late Mr. Abraham Scott, late of 246 Charles-street, West Perth, took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Karrakata, on Wednesday, afternoon, June 12, in the presence of a large gathering of friends. The late Mr Scott landed in Western Australia about 60 years ago, and for many years was a member of the police force. He was well known in the South-West and around Williams and Bannister, and was for a long period connected with Millar's Timber and Trading Company. The chief mourners were Mrs. H. Evans (West Perth), Mrs. W. Merritt (Balingup), Mrs. T. Ashmore (Perth), Mrs. J McLean (Trayning), and Mrs. J. Anderson (Perth), (daughters), George and William (sons), Messrs. H. Evans, Jas. McLean, and J. Anderson (sons-in-law) Mrs. Wm. Scott (daughter-in-law). Deceased also leaves 40 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The pall-bearers were Messrs. J. Breydon (Federated Enginedrivers and Firemen's Association), R. Rutherford (Millar's T. and T. Co.), R. Thomas, W. Seebo, E. Goodman, and A. M'Kay. Amongst those present were H. B. Wooldridge, J. Lee, J. Cahill, W. A. K. and W. A. R. Judge. J. H. Beard, L. Isard, F. D. Evans. W. Jennings, L. Ward and many others. A ' large number of. wreaths was received. The Pv. C. D. P. Taylor officiated at the graveside and the funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Donald J. Chipper and Son.
