My Great Gma- Mrs. Nellie Campbell Jones, who made her home with her son, Golden Campbell, 801 Elm St., died last night in a local hospital after an illness of a year.
She was born in Stittville Feb. 24, 1868, the daughter of the late Oliver and Elizabeth Davis Ellis. She was twice married. In 1889, at Lowell, she was married to Elmer Campbell, who died in 1911. In 1913 in this city she was married to Harry L. Jones, who died in 1931. She had been a resident of Rome for 17 years, and attended the First Baptist Church,
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lester McDonald, Little Falls; two sons, Golden E. Campbell, with whom she made her home, and Harley M. Campbell, Vernon; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ford O. Campbell who was born in Sept 1892 and died Dec. 4, 1893.
