Funeral services held here for Mrs. Jenkins

Last rites were held here Sunday for Mrs. Adelle Stewart Jenkins, wife of W. W. Jenkins, Winona restaurant owner.

Rev. Frank Scarlett, Jr., officiated at the services, held at Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Winona Gardens of Memory, with Lee in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jenkins, who was 66 years old, was a native of Calhoun County. She had worked with her husband for many years and was well known to all customers of the City Cafe.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winona.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are four brothers, Upton Stewart, Fordice, Arkansas; Morris Stewart, Calhoun City; Willie B. Stewart, Calhoun City; and Dewey Stewart, Houston Texas.

Also, four sisters, Miss Ova Stewart, Winona; Mrs. Hansel Martin, Bruce; Mrs. Edward Taylor, Houston; and Mrs. Hattie Taylor, Calhoun City.

Pallbearers were Bobby Hemphill. L. C. Hemphill, Wiley Prewitt, Forrest Heath, C. Strahan, and Harry Simmons.
