Mrs. Bettie Mae Grantham Eubank, 83, of Winona died Tuesday, November 22, at the Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst after a short illness. Mrs. Eubank was the daughter of the late John and Mattie McNeer Grantham and the widow of the late Ernest W. Eubank. She was a native of Montgomery County and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eubank is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. S. S. Egger and Mrs. H. C. Rose, both of Hazlehurst, Mrs. Elsie Sutphin and Mrs. O. C. Gwin, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Dale Pullins of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Mrs. R. N. Steiner of Saugus, Calif. and Mrs. Dewitt Fleming of New Orleans, La.; three sons, Col. W. L. Eubank of Winona, Dr. S. L. Eubank of Spearfield, S. D., and Don Eubank of Booneville; one sister, Mrs. Noel Miles of Yazoo City and one brother, Owen Grantham of Greenwood; 23 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. David Pratt at First Baptist Church on Friday, November 25 at 2:00 P.M. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Winona Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Eddie Barnes, Bobby Scruggs, Jimmy Lamb, Tommy Herod, B. F. Townsend, and Marshall Aldridge.
