Col. William L. Eubank, 77, of Winona died of heart failure Monday, April 13, 1998, at his residence near Winona.
Col. Eubank, a member of First Baptist Church in Winona, was a retired colonel with the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a veteran of World War II, Korean War, and Viet Nam War serving with the Marines.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Walker and the Rev. T.R. Darsey officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.
Col. Eubank is survived by his wife, Jane Metts Eubank; six sisters, Jean Egger and Jane Rose, both of Hazlehurst, Peggy Pullen and Rosemary Steiner, both of Los Angeles, Patsy Fleming of New Orleans, Connie Gwin of Big Bear Lake, Calif.; and two brothers, Donald Eubank of Booneville and Sever Eubank of Spearfish, South Dakota.
Pallbearers were Kevin Eubank, Bob Eubank, Thomas Johnson, David Moore, Doug King, Waldo Eubank, and Bobby Scruggs.
Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
