Lawrence Elder, 55, of Rt.2, Caneyville, died December 22, 1984 at his residence. / Mr. Elder was born November 1, 1929 in Grayson County, the son of Jesse Elder and Hulda Cook Elder. / He was a past employee of Caneyville Roller Mill. / Survivors other than his mother include one brother, Herman Elder of Caneyville; one sister, Zelma Weedman of Pleasure Ridge Park; several aunts, one uncle and one niece. / Funeral services were held December 24 at the Pleasant View Church with Bro. W.A. Green officiating, burial in Wilson Cemetery.
