Mrs. Elizabeth J. Batte, 67, a homemaker, 2368 Twin Lakes Circle, died of cancer Thursday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Services are 3 p.m. today at Trinity Presbyterian Church with burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today. Mrs. Batte, a native of D'Lo, attended Mississippi University for Women and the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the Talisman Club. Survivors include: husband, John C. Jr.; daughter, Sarah Boswell of Jackson; son, John C. Batte III of Jackson; sisters, Gladys Hollingsworth, Cile Parrish and Aline Collum, all of Jackson; and six grandchildren.
