Graveside services for Mrs. Floy Allbritton, well known musician and former Winonan, who died in Detroit, Michigan, were held Thursday morning, September 4, at the Oakwood cemetery in Winona. Rev. John W. Green and Rev. R. S. Lowe officiated. Burial was under the direction of Lee Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allbritton who was 57 was born in Winona, the daughter of the late Mrs. Ida McCluney Sturdivant and the late Oscar W. Sturdivant, a prominent Winona businessman for many years. She was educated at Blue Mountain College and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. For a number of years she taught classes in violin, voice, piano, organ and expression in Winona. For the past
24 years she has lived in Detroit where she had gained recognition as a professional pianist and vocalist. She was a Baptist.

She leaves a son, Oscar W. Allbritton, professor of mechanical engineering at Texas A. and M .College; and one grandson.
