Mrs. Alma Ashline, 54, of Saranac, died suddenly at her home Thursday.
She was born the daughter of Frank and Ida (Andrews) Gumlaw.
She is survived by her husband, Napoleon; her father; her step-mother, Helen Gumlaw; three sons, Alva, John and Everest Ashline of Saranac; four daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Janet) LeClair of Saranac, Cindy, Bonnie and Tammie Ashline of Saranac; three sisters, Mrs. Pete (Shirley) Frank of Tupper Lake, Mrs. Gerald (Nora) Ratta of West Chazy, Mrs. Francis (Lelia) Delong of Schuyler Falls; five step-brothers, Francis Gumlaw of Cadyville, Edwin Ryan of NC, Thomas Ryan of Alaska, James Ryan of Plattsburgh and Kermit LaVign of Minevbille; four step-sisters, Mrs. Earl (Mary) LaFountain of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Gilman of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Senecal of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) McGee of Plattsburgh; three grandchildren.
