Funeral of Mrs. Ward
The funeral of Mrs. Maggie Ward, wife of Jacob Ward, was held from her late residence, 388 Mill Street, Tuesday afternoon at half-past two o'clock. Rev. John McNab, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiated. Four Civil War veterans who were friends of the family acted as bearers. Interment was in the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in charge of Undertaker H. J. Selfridge.
