Catherine R. Chandler, 96, passed away May 26th at the Independence Manor Care Center in Independence where she lived. Mrs. Chandler was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. She was a member of Independence Boulevard Christian Church.

She was survived by a son, Joseph W. Chandler, of Kansas City; a daughter, Catherine L. Lines, of Independence; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Friends called on Friday evening at the Blackman Chapel. Services were held on Saturday morning at the Independence Boulevard Christian Church. Burial followed in Highland Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
