Joan Call of Bedford, NY passed away on November 13th after a long battle with colon cancer. She was 70 years old. Joan was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout her life she opened her arms and heart to everyone she met. She dedicated all of her time to caring for her family. Joan was known for her quick wit and ever-present sense of humor. She was a proud and strong woman who will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. Joan is survived by her partner, William Mueller of Bedford, her daughters Kathleen Powell of Bedford, Patricia Piatt of Hawthorne, and Jacqueline Temple of Scituate, MA. Joan ia also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Piatt, Daniel Powell and Nicole and Julia Temple. Calling hours are 2 pm-4 pm and 6 pm-8 pm on November 15 and November 16 at Cassidy Flynn Funeral Home, 288 Main Street, Mt. Kisco, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 17, at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church, Route 22, Bedford, NY. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
