Adelard Joseph Napoleon Demers was called home to be with his Lord, on September 2, 2005. “Ed” was born (1929) and raised in Alberta, and was a longtime resident of both Alberta and Ontario prior to moving to Vernon in 1982. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Annette, and his children: Gilles (Jeannine) of Grande Prairie, Marcel (Sandy) of Vernon, Colette (Jean) of Welland., Ont., Suzanne (Robert) and Lynne (Len) all of Vernon. He was predeceased by two sons, Denis and Gerald, and by two sisters: Rita St. Jean and Irene Aubin. Ed is further survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother Rene, and numerous extended family members
